2nd week of school is over already. can't believe how time pass so fast.

assignments are slowly rolling in and fasting month is soon coming to its end.

Ive been staying at my halls on certain days cause i don't really have morning class often and some reasons due to fasting month.

last night, i managed to meet and make new friends as all the freshman was invited to our Hall dinner. I guess it was a good get together, knowing the management and activities that they will be having. It was nice seeing other malay people around. Well, i guess everyone was shy and so didn't managed to mingle around much with them.

Staying in halls, we have those aunties and uncles cleaning the public areas around the hall(cleaners). And, i can say most of them make out of old malay folks. I don't know if thats supposed to be a good thing or not but let my share with you my experience with one of them .

so, one morning, i realized that the aunty was cleaning the ladies. i wasn't sure if it was ok to step in or not but i did anyway. since i would be taking 2-3 steps in, i thought it didn't really matter much. and so when i stepped in, i saw the aunty washing up the place and since i know she's malay, i decided to ask her permission nicely in malay if i could step in. Bare in mind that some cleaners don't mind if such situation to happen. In this holy month, i expected some nice response back but instead she replied me with such harsh tone saying; ' u step in ready still ask for what?'

i was really surprised but decided to shut my mouth and not talk back. while i was in there, she kept mumbling on and on and on. before i left, i said thank you and walked off.

this morning, i wanted to to go the ladies and found out that she was cleaning the toilet again. knowing that i might get into trouble if i stepped in, i decided to use the other toilet that was further away from my room*She saw me by then* i returned to my room after that. got my stuff and headed out again to shower. just as i left my room, she just finished cleaning the toilet. and this time, it was her who told me that i could use it since she was done. but i decided to use the other side instead and told her it was alright. i figured it was right for me to do that cause at least the toilet is kept clean awhile longer since she took awhile to get it clean (hilang rase penat) .

I had another encounter with an old malay aunty at boon lay mrt this time. It was those cleaners again. i was at the top-up machine when she approached me and said .' eh, adik ..'

ideas was running through my head (e.g asking for money ..) and i decided to reply ' yes ?' *in english*. she looked at me with a blur expression and asked me in malay if was malay ..i actually took awhile to think what to answer and decided to shake my head and walked off.

I really don't know whats up with my encounters with these old folks this couple of days. hmmm

its back to school for me.

FIRST DAY in Uni.

it was alright though

as for now, it is still manageable

time table is quite relax

i felt lost today

because had free time in hand

and didnt know what to do with it

there was a 3hr gap between my 2 classes

walked around the school

visited the library but end up

going back to my room to take a nap

before my 3hours lesson starts

its the middle of the week!!

but to some, it might felt like the weekend thanks to the public holiday yesterday. well, i felt like it was..

Had an awesome time yesterday.

it was just us 4 enjoying ourselves at the beach.

But first, Fiq, army boy and i had to attend a meeting with Deamplus before we can let loose in the afternoon.

after the meeting, we head towards the mrt station but there were couple of pit stops along the way. the boys bought boardshorts from Flash & Splash as they were having sale up to 70% off. army boy really did let loose that day cause he bought Fiq one boardshorts too.

we head to Vivo while waiting for arina. we did some snacks shopping. and next stop, the awesome beach !

though we reached the beach in the afternoon. the weather was good. it wasnt too hot.

the rest of the day was us to remember (:

Sunday afternoon, army boy called if i wanted to watch Thriller at MBS as his brother had free tix. well, at first i thought he was playing a prank with me until he sounded serious.

So obviously, from a lazy sunday at home, head out to MBS to catch Thriller. it was alright at first, all of us were sat with our heads bobbing and leggings tapping to the music. However, when it was the highlight of the show, all of us were dancing away and sang along. it was awesome! :D

Here we are again, the beginning of a new week. Okay not exactly the beginning since its Tuesday today. But at least most of us started the day with a cooler temperature. I hope it would continue the drizzle for the rest of the day. After the humid weather yesterday,i totally appreciate the rain.

If you are yet to catch the movie Water for Elephants, you totally should. Its nice and touching. I managed to catch it with army boy on Saturday in town.

Surprised to bump into cousin and bf.

When I got home, mom showed me a pair of heels that she bought herself for Mother’s Day. Well, I guess she indirectly trying to tell us off since we didn't get anything. Well, that's the plan as my sis and I had plans for Sunday to surprise her. Since dad is away, it was up to us daughters.

And so on Sunday morning, sis and I went to shop for a cake and present for mom while she was out to fetch the 2 little ones from religious class.

Things got messy when we wanted to head home.

When we reached tpy mrt, we called 3^rd sis to know where they were but only to find out they were at tpy too. Knowing that if we took the bus, they are gona reach home way before us. So we decided to meet up with mom and the other 2 and head home together. Please note that I was holding a cake and sis was carrying her present.

When we got home, our surprise plan was saved by my aunt who wanted to drop by but didn't want to enter the house which left mom talking to her outside. And that very moment, the 4 sisters ran around frantically setting up the surprise.

Mom was shocked when she saw the surprise and gifts.

See mom, we didn't forget that it was mother’s day..

sometimes its really difficult to put the phone down especially if you know you wont be hearing that voice for the rest of the week.

Army boy will be away till friday. Well, this is nothing compares to the 3 long weeks in Thai that he will be going soon.

As for me, i wont just have to keep myself occupied while he gets home.

ive promised to take care of myself by;

- eating well (i'll eat and munch and munch and munch)

- ice my ankle (i seriously need a new ankle!)

- go out but come home early (i dont know where to go except home, sch and work)

in the mean while, my brain will start planning of things to do and places to go when he comes back (:
