Vertical Marathon 2010 .
for the very first time of my 18 years of living, today was the ultimate challenge that i over come. its the second year Dream+ took part this event. i was around last year but i didnt participate due to some reasons that i cant remember. however, this year i have no reason not to do and i was jealous that those who got up to the helipad last year enjoyed the view, and so i had to do it this year.
there were 11 of us who took part this year and ever had the same thought; ' its our first and definitely our last! ' it was torturing going up the stairs. there were 74 storey altogether. its a total achievement as i could hardly complete 2.4 k run is doing a Vertical Marathon. coach must be proud of me if i let him know.hahah!
after completing the marathon, we enjoyed the spectacular view of the city. but it was bright and hot, and everyone just wanted to enjoy the air-con. being on the helipad at night is 10 times better; breath taking view!
by right, i did a totally of .....
1. 74 storey.
2. we had to climb another 4 storey together with the Spastic Children from the 70th floor.
total = 78 storey!
after the event, the only think i want to spent the rest of the day is at home.
if only you were there with me. hmmm..
